Games won't run

Featured Replies

I've just bought a new computer, and I am still in the tweaking in process. My problem is I can't seem to get any games to run after I've installed them. Two examples are: E T Matrix ,the error is Full screen mode not found. Rainbow 6-3d hardware not found use directx 8.1 or greater. (I'm running directx 9)

System- P4 2.8

875 pbz intel board

512meg ddr400 kingston hyper X

Radeon 9700 128 card

The only time I have seen that message with that game was when trying to get that game (Matrix) to run on a box with an Intel graphics adapter. The systems I was testing both had Intel video on the motherboard. I see that you have a Radeon card but does your MB also have onboard video support?

Yes, i would recommend the drivers for your graphics card...

From their support site: http://www.atarisupport.com/faq/enterthema...c.asp#top***ue8

“I receive a ‘Full screen mode not available’ error message.”

This error generally occurs if your system does not meet the minimum system requirements for the game, or if your drivers are not up to date. Please see the sections in this document regarding system requirements and updating your drivers for more information.

Well your comp is fine to run any game so thats not a prob...

Let us know your OS mate...
