Woomera Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 ok i know this is a freaking noob question but,my brother bought a LG LT20 and in the desription it said it has blutooth but there is no blutooth device just "Intel® Pro/Wireless Mini LAN Card 802.11b (Mini PCI)".i wanted to know if this is the device that makes blutooth connection possible?thanks. trickytwista Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 hmm, actually some models of the intel mini pci cards actually have bluetooth on them as well as the wireless, you can check by looking at the card (there will be little plugs on it that connect the wireless arial onto it) if its bluetooth also you will see an additional little plug for it.... Zxian Posted March 5, 2006 Share Posted March 5, 2006 YOu can actually open up notebooks to see what's inside, if the manufacturer made the wifi card a user accessible device. But that's beside the point.You should check the device properties in device manager. If it's the Intel PRO 2100 card, then there's no bluetooth.
