Nero v7.0.5.4

i have installed nero 7082 with Mercury_22's way in vmware an it was ok

but now that i installed it on a real pc it installed fine but it does not working...

the prog is not opening

does anyone tried this on a real pc and saw it working ?

Yup tried it and worked.. but in a slightly different method.

I used Mercury_22's method, but instead of using the cmdline I modified the installer comment (it's an unprotected RAR) to:

Mercury_22's method is great but i have a prob

here is my version

Everything is ok BUT NO NeroVIsion and NeroStartSmart is installed!!!!

Vision id is C57D52359, NeroStartSmart ID is CB035464E

but i didnt put it in command line!!!

maybe i need put something like

CB035464E=1

I have a serious problem here with nero 7.0.8.2 (with no content modification) trying to make a tmp folder in the CD,

Installation is ok with a source with write permission, but from a readonly source, here is the error

Any help is appreciated,

do I have to extract the setup files form temp ?

will it then work on readonly sources ? ( I doubt)

For those of you who do not wish to reduce the size of the installer (/repack) I would recommend giving my AutoIT script a go, easy configurable and works on any language/version including include/exclude component options, nero configuration and registration. Also hides cab extraction window, and renames Nero inn add/remove programs.

Installs using switches and NOT by sending button clicks etc.

There is a file assosciation windows at the end which I guess is for nero scount,

does any of these switches remove those assosciations? cause by default they are to be assigned

I modified my msi for some settings (eg NERO_SCOUT=FALSE) and

I have made my own autoit script that removes those associations at the time of installation.
