antzpompeii Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Hi allI have a bit of a problem....I've set up my new nlited cd with ZoneAlarm Add-on.... except whilst its installling it pauses saying 'could not config c:/documents/Zonealarm'.I just have to close the dialog box for it to continue.I've also added AVG and there is no problem with that one....They are both integrated with Nlite RC6 as hotfixes.Has anyone got a solution?Your response is greatly appreciated. Thanks a milRegards,Antz

diddykong Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Yep I reported this problem ages ago here; http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=65730 but recieved no comments, help, or people looking into it. It definitely needs looking at!!
piXelatedEmpire Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 does the application actually install successfully and function correctly despite this issue?
gramiche Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 (edited) The problem come from bad writing of installer by ZoneLabs. The addon is built using standard installer and silent switch (/S i think)Despite of the popup, ZoneAlarm work normally. The only way to soluce the problem is to rebuild an installer... Or ask zonelabs to correct his bugged installer. Edited February 9, 2006 by gramiche
abarax66 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I decided to create a silent installer for ZoneAlarm Free version 6.1.737.000. Here's the link:http://rapidshare.de/files/12888806/Garys_..._Addon.cab.htmlIt's been tested on several machines and VMWare Workstation.Gary
piXelatedEmpire Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 abarax66, can you please provide some more details about this cab and I'll add it to the sticky... like website, file size etc
