saugatak
@FDV and TommyPBuilding a new HFSLIP Win2k w/ IE6 and checked out the updated Jan. 11, 2006 webpage. In my HF folder, I still have scripten.exe but aside from a reference to scripten.exe in TommyP's old build set, there are no other references to scripten.exe.Also, it's not referenced in either Tomcat's or The Guy's page of Win2k update files.Do I need to keep scripten.exe or can I dump it?If scripten.exe needs to be kept, then don't The Guy's and Tomcat's Win2k update pages have to be updated to add scripten.exe? tommyp
Yes, scripten.exe should be in your HF folder and both lists have it listed. To any lurkers out there, the EN in scripten means ENglish.

Camarade_Tux
I have this update but the file is called "js56" and is for french. So I guess I have to rename it to scriptfr.exe (though I know HFSlip doesn't care about the 'fr').Right ?edit: XP SP1aedit2: btw, I have msxml6 which is ENGLISH only. Will it cause any problem with my french CD ? Edited April 12, 2006 by Camarade_Tux
Tomcat76
That's the JScript update. You need scriptfr.exe from this page which updates several components (including JScript).MSXML6:I don't think it actually matters. HFSLIP only installs "the viewer" which doesn't even have an interface. Edited April 12, 2006 by Tomcat76

Super-Magician
Camarade_Tux,Where did you get the package in your FIX folder? First of all, that package should not be in there at all because files in the FIX folder are copied directly to I386 at the end of the slipstreaming process without modification. Can't help you with why there's more files in one than the other. Tomcat76
Judging by the dates and the number of files, the bigger package is the one you need. The build number (8825) is the newest. Rename it to scriptfr.exe and place it in HF.
Camarade_Tux
Super-Magician, I didn't know this package was in this directory. In fact, I really wonder why I have something there.I ran HFSlip in a new folder to avoid old things (errors amongst others)Tomcat76, scriptfr - "5.6.0.8825.exe" and "scriptfr.exe" have the same version : 5.6.0.8825. I found it odd that two different installers got published. :/ Anyway, thanks for the info. I'll move the file in FIX to HF and report (normaly on tomorrow)
