Hi Posters,

I have an inbuilt "Intel Corporation 82801DBM AC'97 Modem Controller" in my Laptop

that doesnt work with Windows 98 SE. The modem uses a Agere chipst.

I have tried using the generic 8.30 Agere drivers, searching google and add com ports 1 - 4.

Its no good having to us Windows XP to use the internet.

I can only find drivers for Windows 95, 2000 and XP!

I tried using the 95 drivers with no luck.

When using LINUX i could use this modem with the SLMODEM Drivers.

Does anyone have a solution?
