Sonic Posted December 18, 2005 Share Posted December 18, 2005 WM10 is official just for windows xp ... other older versions of windows can install WMP9 ... but I think with h*cks/tweaks you can force wmp10 on 2k, but I don't have the solution ... -I- Posted December 18, 2005 Share Posted December 18, 2005 it is NOT possible, no'r is it legal, I concider myselfe 'semi proffesional' on the windows 2000 operating system. and yes i have tryed and failed, - there where simply to many hooks to the kernel and driver base to get WMP 10 stable enouth on NT5.0 also i feat there are little to no advantages for me to forcefully hack the thing stable. just for that (and for memory footprint), i desided to find my luck with other media software instead. - there are some great opensource aplications, that manage to be working perfectly on Win 2k.
