I was just thinking over this idea that a friend suggested....

Plenty of our members have high-end PCs & experiment with their hardware a lot.

Why not have a place for them on MSFN - with info, tools, techniques, etc.

Probably a forum called "Over-clocking" in "Hardware Hangout" ?

That would be good. We should also sub divide the windows and software forum. They usually go above 1 page per day.

That would be great!

I never tried overclocking and would like to know how.

i've overclocked mine and like to tweak everything as far as possible so let's say, YES! :)

edit: will be also a nice place to compare rigs and show benchmarks :P

How would you suggest subdividing these forums?

i would also like to have a non-windows subforum, i know it has been pointed and replied before but... you all know every advanced windows user likes to play with other operating systems... from DOS to *nix, BeOS, Mac OS X (and x86)...

I agree.

Me three....

I'm probably going to be dual booting XP and Suse in the spring, since Suse would make my computer science courses a lot easier... (we SSH into the servers and use X11 windows remotely... something that's sorta a pain with Windows).
