Porn Loader Posted December 6, 2005 Share Posted December 6, 2005 (edited) the qIII smp patches no longer applied i thought aka they pulled them years ago? chronicles of riddick, and farcry have "64bit" patches for them but it doesn't add much. hopefully as software developers, uhmm, develop more multi-threaded apps you'll see improvement. for instance, the nvidia detonator 80.xx's and the ati 5.12's are suppossed to provide gains for multicore users.... how much of gain? at this time i'd say not much as its a relatively recent development....
