hmmm ... I thought this was supposed to be a program for creating custom installs. Sorta like NCAB ... but for v7.

OK, finally got around the so called DLL hell, I even managed to update the app to the newest version :

Advanced installer without any bloat!

Current limitations:

- Nero Lite will only install on Windows XP for the time being. If no problems get reported, I'll look into making it Win2K compatible.

- It's not possible to apply License data through Nero Lite Setup unattendly. Import your license data manually into the registry afterwards.

+ Evaluation Serial included (30-day trial valid through 5-1-2006)

Installer is created with InnoSetup, standard unattended switch to use: /VERYSILENT. Expect more information on how to unattendly install only specific components, installation tasks etc, later this week.

Strange, but when I attempt to download the file, I get this error:

File ID and File Code is not valid

Disable your 'Download Accelerator' if you use such a program

Contact the webmaster if this error continue, (Support Forums)

I have fixed some issues with the Nero Lite installer, concerning the Imaging libraries, needed by Nero CoverDesigner and VideoCD support. Also some missing regentries are added now.

For English users, I now have also a seperate build available without the Dutch files -> 34.0 MB:

You can use so called reg tweaks to modify userdata/license info:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

It is bigger then normally stripped Nero versions but this one has all the Helpfiles guess that makes it bit bigger. I do appreciate the Helpfiles, otherwise the entire help option was useless.

Updated Anti-Virus plugin contains DrWeb Anti-Virus definitions bases (approx. 2 MB) for usage within Nero Burning Rom. Normally you have to update the Anti-Virus scanner manually through Help menu. Very useful when you need to backup files from a spyware/virus infected pc

Nope, but there is always Menu Start in Windows containing shortcut links. You might try to use Nero Express to start working on a cd project.
