Hehe thanks for the update. Usually when I turn on Winamp it says if there is a new update available....but not this time for some weird reason.

Checked out the site and found out that the version is 5.1 Surround Edition or something like that.....that right?

NO, 5.1 is not right - its extremely old. The newer one is 5.11 (as opposed to 5.10).

You buy 5.1 speakers, meaning that you have 1 center, left, right, and 2 rear speakers (total: 5), as well as a subwoofer (They call it .1 for some reason...).

Think home theatre.

The subwoofer isn't a real speaker, that's why it's .1.

Sure it is. It produces sound - just at a much lower and narrower frequency range than your average speaker.
