Martin H
I've been thinking about changing to the_guy's list now when TC hasen't updated his list since April '08, and also since the_guy's list shows which updates isn't needed with FDV's fileset(with some of them at least).Anyway, i've then downloaded all the needed updates from the_guy's list, but now there's two updates which i'm in doubt about, so if one of you guys could please help me out with that, then i would really appreciate it :August 2007 > KB936227: There's no KB936227 update in that KB article, but several other updates. Do i need any of these updates, or are they all replaced ? February 2008 > KB947890: There's no KB947890 update in that KB article, but instead a KB943055 update. Do i need KB943055, or has it been replaced ?Thank's in advance.

Do i need any of these updates, or are they all replaced ?Momentarily these are still current, but according to the security patch advance notification, they will be replaced this coming Tuesday.February 2008 > KB947890: There's no KB947890 update in that KB article, but instead a KB943055 update. Martin H
Many thanks Kurt_Aust I just found it confusing that the top-level KB article number was listed, instead of the actual KB numbers of the updates...Thanks again, mate!
Martin H
To help new users:August 2007 > KB936227 should instead be: KB936021February 2008 > KB947890 should instead be: KB943055
Martin H
I have been cross-referencing the_guy's list with TC's(high-priority updates only), and have found the following inconsistencies...Missed:KB927891 - Update for Windows Installer (3.1.4000.4033)KB943484 - Vulnerability in Active Directory KB944338 - Vulnerability in VBScript and JScriptMiss-catagorised:KB911564 is listed under 'Windows Media Player 9', but is a standard w2ksp4 update(i.e. also wmp6.4)...
