epic Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 (edited) How do you know press any key isnt a ms beta tester, i am and it hasnt shown up on Microsoft ConnectI do agree with you second point.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Microsoft Connect does not receive exclusive beta products. Only MSDN subscribers do and very very seldomly do TechNet subscribers. If this guy was a beta tester or developer he would not be complaining why he did not get it.... it's widely available on MSDN services. I am looking at it and can download it again if I wanted to, I have an enterprise MSDN subscription Microsoft Connect is a free general beta service.Opera 8.5 is free, most customizable and secure browser there is. Go nuts over that, forget about IE...<{POST_SNAPBACK}>It's nice, but not the most secure. Edited October 4, 2005 by epic
Scubar Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 actually youll find opera is the most secure browser, also the fastest too. and uses far less resources. firefox is a good browser no doubt but it has many security flaws in it, ive seen quite a few ppl using firefox get there browser hijacked from dodgy sites theyve visited whereas ive not heard of one case of an opera user being hijacked.
chilifrei64 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Opera is currently the most secure browser but that is only because it only has less than a 1% market share or internet browsers.. If we can all remember.. firefox was the most secure until it gained in popularity.. not it is just as vulnerable if not more(arguable) than IE.. As the market share increases.. so will its exploits.. that is the way it always goes.
