ASUS A7N8X-X board

Featured Replies

Seems that a lot of the internet shops are selling out their nForce2 boards including this one.

I'm planning to stay with single core 32 bit (socket A) CPUs for a while yet. The geek attraction of 64 bit dual-core just isn't there for me (yet). As long as I can continue to buy Barton core (512 Mb cache) Athlon XP 3200+ CPUs for about $100 I'll be happy.

Anyway, I am able to get a NIB v2.0 board (with the updated North/South bridge chips) for less than $50 shipped.

Good buy or should I be looking at a Chaintech or Abit?

It's SOCKET A! Slot A does NOT exist. ;) That mobo is low-end, why don't you get MSI K7N2 Delta? It's better. ;)

For the same price you could get a socket 754 setup w/ 64bit enabled sempron. Atleast that way you still have room to upgrade the CPU.

i got the A7N8X-Deluxe board, works sweet for me still! if you are planning on staying with amd for a bit, take it, but if u are gona upgrade go with above comments...ill keep my socket A until it dies! (board or cpu :P)

you can pick up that motherboard over at ebuyer.com
