September 15, 200520 yr Well I was think, what if you were to change the setup and input different sizes for the separate partitions?I haven't tried this and don't even know if would work[DiskConfig] Disk1="Disk1.config"[Disk1.config] Size1="*" Size2="*" PartitionType1="primary" PartitionType2="logical" FileSystem1="ntfs" FileSystem2="ntfs" Quickformat1="yes" Quickformat2="yes"
September 15, 200520 yr Author You guys are right on with the DiskConfig. It can be used if you wanted to divide the drive into multiple partitions.Edit: Sorry I didn't read all of the post until after I made my post but the reason for the NoWaitAfterTextMode or GuiMode is explained in this articleWaitAfterTextModeIt basicly eliminates the 15 second delay when setup has to reboot Edited September 15, 200520 yr by bullet
September 15, 200520 yr Author Additionally, I didn't come up with the DiskConfig thing I'm not trying to take credit for it if you look at this thread you will find out some more information about it.
September 15, 200520 yr Setup ignores all entries in this section unless you run factory -winpethis is stated right in the chm. I tried many ways to get it to work, no luck, perhaps someone else will do better.............BD B)

September 16, 200520 yr yea, i asked him...on another note...good find bullet, i would have never known about DiskConfig in winnt.sif Edited September 16, 200520 yr by evilvoice
September 16, 200520 yr yes, it doesPS: The parser of the Winnt.sif file is the same that's used for Winbom.ini and most other answer files used in setup....theoretically, unless Microsoft disabled it in one file and not the other, most things should work across the files the problem is....microsoft has a hard time documenting it's features at times... - from Alanoll Edited September 16, 200520 yr by evilvoice
September 16, 200520 yr Well I can't get to work, if someone gets a working winnt.sif could you post it please....thanksBD B)
