The Rock Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Hello people,I have a file in .avi extention, and got the subtitles of the movie as well. Can anyone tell me how do I Use the subtitles, i mean, what to name the .sub file? Which directory to put it in and any other pre-requisites.Thanks,The Rock
ripken204 Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 well that means that you would have to play 2 videos at the same time or something like that. maybe you could encode the avi to a dvd format and then put in the subs, but im just guessing.
The Rock Posted September 10, 2005 Author Posted September 10, 2005 i think PowerDVD plays the .avi files. is it that it doesnt .avi with subtitles? The Rock

Mercury_22 Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 Hi! You have to rename the sub file same as the avi file and put it in the same directory ex :(xxxx.avi - xxxx.sub or xxxx.srt)You also need a plugin like VSFilter http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli Last version doesn't work for me!
