Hi.... can somebody tell me the silent install for wpi of the new Yahoo messenger with voice...pls

I don't use the program, but I did download it. It looks to me like an Inno installation.

From the Guide written and hosted on msfn, the switch would be:

msgr7us.exe  /VERYSILENT /SP-

Try that out and let us know if it works or not

uhm, no, its a wise package...or at least last I used it, which was the day 437 came out.

i m not sure about this as i used it for yahoo 6 so try it

and I see no error in your script .... I mean mine is pretty much the same but for

cmd1[pn]=['%CDROM%\\Install\\ymess.exe /s']

BTW: WPI puts its entries in the runonceex section of the registry, so no need for the "start /wait" thing...

The silent switch for Yahoo Messenger with voice (7) is /Q

Tested and worked perfect

It works with /s too, never tried with /Q.

If anybody tries, please post here the result.
