i cant wait for ryanvm's new pack too. friday is the estimated date for it to be out. he was suppose to be back sunday from his honeymoon and he needs to test out the new pack which may take a couple of days if there are some errors. so who know, might be out tomorrow.

i downloaded and unpack it.....very wired build... it has the hotfixes the way they were downloaded from M$... so is not built like an original pack form M$....therefore i think it can not be integrated....

i didn't install it. cause after i saw what it is meaning just a colection of hotfixes, there is no need for me to install it....

so ...............

and i was reading about this project from when it started. i belived it will be like a service pack from m$. or kinda ryan's pack but with m$ installer... well it is not.

MS was releasing ONLY service packs since NT4 SP4. With SP2 they finally decided to combine service packs (like SP1) with feature packs (like Advanced Networking) to one packages.

This is only service pack, so it is not interesting for me

Its not even a service pack.

Its simply a pile of hotfixes (KBxxxxxx.exe) lumped into one file.

and no, it isnt current.
