gamehead200
Hey guys,I totally forgot about this thread until today...That laptop is now sitting in a closet collecting dust... I have two computers, one which is 350MHz w/ 28MB of RAM () and another which is 500MHz w/ 56MB of RAM ()...Any ideas? I'd like to run either an IRC server or mail server but don't know how to configure either one...
prathapml
No idea about IRC server. But for mail server, almost nothing beats Mercury Mail. Light and free. The power of Mercury may not immediately be apparent, its something that "grows" on you as you use it. Also, don't let its interface scare you, you can very well manage that part. FaceMouth
I saw a sit somewhere about using a laptop for pictures. They took the screen and put in a picture frame on the wall. If I'm not msitaken the guy loaded the pictures in the screen and they display like a slidehow.Looked pretty neat and sounds like your laptop would be perfect for this kind of thing.here's the linkLINKThere is another guide on wiki, it is referenced in this guide but no link.Just found another great idea: Edited October 24, 2005 by FaceMouth
