May 11, 200521 yr I have searched through the forum here, but I can't find what I'm looking for..I'm wondering. Is there a good FREE defrag program I can download somewhere? I'm not to pleased with the built in Windows defrag...
May 11, 200521 yr Well, you should make sure to search on all the forum, this was first result (after the stickies):http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=44890Where there is a link to dirms and buzzsaw.jaclaz
May 11, 200521 yr Raxco PerfectDisk is the best Defragger and they have a PDF file on their homepage proving this. I use it and it is simply awesome.
May 12, 200521 yr Author Well, you should make sure to search on all the forum, this was first result (after the stickies)Where there is a link to dirms and buzzsaw.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I missed the phrase: "They are both free and work at least as good if not better than stuff you have to pay for. May 12, 200521 yr I think you might be looking for the golden egg here...The BuzzSawService is really good though, if you can't afford any payware. I've used it on a number of systems and it keeps things decently organized. I second that motion...
May 12, 200521 yr Author @Zxian: Then I'll give that one a try.. Maybe I will have to make a payware defrag a birthdaywish next year.. If I don't find a satisfying freeware defrag..
