February 17, 200521 yr Under Explorer, if I do Tools/Folder Options/View, under "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" there is an option called "ioaiooiaioeoieioaoie...." except there are strange marks over the ioaea and eaoieo parts I know I've been installing a lot of different things, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this.

February 21, 200521 yr maybe the mydocs.dll file is a russian version and not the US english version.Right-click on the mydocs.dll file from the Windows\System folder and chooseProperties and click on the Version tab of that file.
February 21, 200521 yr I did SP2.0 RC1 and don't have that. But I have a different Explorer: here it's View/Folder option. It's not under Tools.ioaiooiaioeoieioaoie...It's Tyrolian traditional song. Maybe you installed the Austrian pack?

If you have IE 5.0 or less, then the FolderOptions command is not under Tools menu and only featured in View menu.This is assuming the Windows version used is Win98 or NT4.The Folder Options command is under Tools if using Win2000, ME or XP.The "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" option isNOT included in Windows 9x/NT4 systems. It's only featured inWindows 2000, ME, XP & 2003 systems. I'm beginning to think youguys may have installed MDGx's 98se2me pack under a Win98se system.
