http://rapidshare.de is a great way of transferring files upto 20 MB in size.

Free upload, and download with minimal hassles. One problem though exists. read to find out how to solve it:

Rapidshare timer Bypass, Forget waiting 30 seconds to start downloading.

Never wait again on files over rapidshare.de. Use this in the address bar when waiting:

java script:c(countdown = 0);

Thats it, put it on a bookmark and use it when necessary.

I have an even better one for you:

send up to 1gb at a time, no registering-- not even give a mail address(though you'll likely want to for your recipent to reply-- though you can also attach a text message of any length), no maximum caps/quotas, no nothing-- i've used them for about a year now: http://s13.yousendit.com/

and something a bit different:

streamload has once more a free plan: 10gb storage(only 100mb monthly download though): http://www.streamload.com/Account/Pricing.asp

& the converse: 30mb has free web hosting w/ unlimited bandwidth-- but only 30mb space: http://www.30mb.com/

hhhmmmm..........

Yeah, yousendit.com is good and even allows download managers.

But its almost useless compared to rapidshare.de because the files download will only work for 25 downloads or 7 days (whichever is earlier).

That limitation is not there, with rapidshare. Rapidshare keeps working even after 18,000 downloads. :whistle:

What about www.easy-sharing.com?

They allow up to 75MB per file and don't have limits of Radipshare.

Yousendit.com has always worked best for me.... and I think the downloadmanager support is a key issue in it's favor....

Anouther tip: http://CallingID.com/ thay have a nice little toolbar that tells you who owns the site you're viewing and where they are located... very useful against phishing and when dealing with an unknown site.

Also try: Remindify.com which will send you IM's to any IM program reminding you of imporatnat dates. very useful.

Have you come across a great news site or forum/board, only to be told that you have to register before accessing it? And you don't feel like registering? Use BUG ME NOT. It even has a firefox extension.

why you shouldn't register

BugMeNot - FAQ

Heh... Would you look at that... There's a login for MSFN! Maybe we should have it removed... :}
