firefoxthebomb Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Open messenger and then go to tools then options. The go to the messages tab, and place a check mark under file transfer on Scan files for viruses using: and then click on Browse to go to the AVG executable to scan for the viruses.

Afterdawn Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Could be me, but if AVG supports real-time protection (so that every incoming file will be scanned) then why should you want to scan Messenger?

AVGW.EXE opens a DOS Command-Line, I'm not sure it does the work...
