The guys in my company are always on about the current temp of thier pc's. I have a P4 prescot 2.8 Ghz which runs under full load at about 62 Degrees C.

Is this a reasonable temp? What would be the ideal temp for a P4 to run at under full load ( like playing HL2 )?

my 3Ghz runs on about 50c full load, thats with a 92mm Zalman CPU Fan :D

62 is ok , but ideally u want the best cooling u can get :)

It has run between 130 - 145 degrees. Any time it gets around 140-145 the fans kick on and cool it quickly.

Get this, you have to burn your own recovery cds (Yet they give you six blank cds. HOW LAZY CAN THEY GET MAN!). It comes on a pre-existing partition. When I tried to burn it kept having an error writing a file. Turns out, 16kb of this new comp's hard drive is bad sectors.
