best memory for gaming on a amd64 pc

(to administrator- appologies for double posting but i've had no responce from the hardware hangout, better luck here maybe?)

Looking to upgrade my system. Probably getting a msi K8N Neo2 Platinum motherboard with an AMD64 3500+. Have been looking aroung for memory, reading reviews and becoming more and more confused, but have narrowed it down to:

Crucial Ballistix DDR PC3200 • 2-2-2-6 • UNBUFFERED

My main usage of the PC is for playing games, so although the above mem has good reviews, is it cool for gaming, if not....any suggestions?

There isnt such thing as better memory for gaming.

My ADATA pc3200 will technically perform the same as those Ballistix would as they are the same speed, if used on the same system (yes you may get better SiSoft Sandra scores - but this would not be noticable in actual everyday and gaming use).

Memory types come into thier own with overclocking (which will improve your gaming performance as your machine is faster), my ADATA falls over when slightly overclocked and the reason the Ballistix are better is because you can overclock it whilst still maintaining tigher RAM timings and you can also put more Volts through them.
