Story of my dad switching to Firefox...

Featured Replies

Security is only a small part of it. Firefox is better overall imho. I don't have such high memory usage with it either (especially if you use tabs, it will use a lot LESS ram than IE would). Better rendering and standard compliance, and the great features of the many extensions truly makes it rock. Lots of them are very addictive, I could hardly consider loosing any of them. They save you a lot of time and add features that we use all the time.

I use Maxthon. It's a smaller installer, and it uses a lot less RAM

Ok... isn't Maxthon IE based???

Maxthon uses the IE core. It doesn't use the IE connections like some other IE based browsers (the ones that people call IE skins).

WOW!!! I needed 260 topics before understanding that Firefox is 1000 times better! And now i switched to i'm dsure i won't go back anymore :P !!

THANK YOU GUYS
