lag in vmware

this is probably a stupid question but i just wanted to make sure everything is alright

is the "lag" in vmware normal?

i just wanted to make sure that it is so i can know that nothing is messed up

VMware should have plenty of RAM to use up..

BUT make sure that the host OS(your real windows) isn't left with too little RAM.

the best way to install virtual iso's is safe mode installation.imean boot ur xp in to safe mode (a lot of ram will be free in this mode),now start installation

i tested and my installation completed in 20-25 min(with 128mb ram on p-3 machine)

try lowering your ram 2 128 for vmware..

should work ok tho.. & ya, install vmware tools after your OS is installed
