RyanVM Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 First off, read the rules12. Very often we see meaningless subjects in topic title. They give no clue of what the posts are all about. For example:- Oh no!- Help- I'm mad- Please help- Question- I need your help- Hmmmm ....This should be avoided. Users should enter something more specific in topic title so that it is easier for others to help.A few good examples:- Strange problem with DirectX9b redist- RunOnceEx install problem (double installation)- Change Internet Explorer's Icon back to defaultSecond, that type of error generally comes from an error in your txtsetup.sif. If I were you, I'd make a fresh one and try again.
Alanoll Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I vote the man tried to add his RAID/SATA drivers using the MassStorageDevice method....
MCT Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 or possibly used nlite & forgot 2 mention that
lilweirddude Posted September 30, 2004 Author Posted September 30, 2004 oops, i did use nlitesorry if i missed anythingim not trying to install any drivers or anythingi searched for txtsetup.oem and couldn't find but i guess i'll search againok i found txtsetup.sif and heres line 1747cnb7000.dll = 1,,,,,,,,3,3thanks for any helpbtw, how could i make a new one and would I have to start over on my unattended cd?
trainee Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 If you are using nLite and not adding drivers you are probably removing something that you need. I am not an expert with nLite but I would try to install without nLiting anything, see if it works, and then work from there. This should tell you if its an nLite issue (probably, something you removed) or a XPCD driver issue. If its a driver issue, you should ask in the 'Device Drivers' forum. If its an nLite issue you should ask in the 'nLite' forum.
lilweirddude Posted September 30, 2004 Author Posted September 30, 2004 i'll try that, thankshopefully it won't be too hard to start over***EDIT***ah it worked, thanks
