Why are you using a registry file instead of the included inf file? A comparison would show that you are missing many entries. You must use TrueImage server, are you?

I don't use BartPe I use Microsoft so no I don't use the .inf's I do it all myself.

**Removed, dumb question**

And that was my glaring question did I have to use TIserver because I was trying with Just TI8. thanks for that.

Ok, so far I have merged the Rpcss and the trueimage settings inrto the registry and registered their respective .ddl's but still nothing, same error as posted above. I can't seem to figure out what TI uses to scan the hard drives with. I am still looking into that one.

Ok, I am saying screw it with this. the reasons follow:

1.)The regedit in SP2 is farked and editting hives is next to impossible

2.)an Acronis image is only good on the PC it was made, try using it on another pc

3.)Ghost is proven to work with PE

4.)With all the additions needed for acronis my image was well over 300mbs

-I have some other stuff also-

5.) I didn't find this out until after, that is your upgrade your TI8 it will kill your image if stored on your HD. (From standard to Server) The recovery CD won't work and niether will the press F11 at boot. so this is reason 5!

So with that said, if anyone wants my files just ask and i will send them.

//##EDIT##//

Here is the link to them if you want them.
