nuhi Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 I finished textmode driver integration support and i would like to test it first, while updating other portions of the application. So if there is anyone reading this with the folowing criteria, feel free to contact me via PM:- sata, raid or scsi hdd- cd or dvd RW !- nerves of steel and doesn't mind possible bugs which i'll fix as soon as reported- won't lie only to get newest nlite (btw every other function is disabled expect driver integration)Testing would be needed to be done on a real pc and the point is that you DON'T need to reinstall windows (even not recommended), just boot from cd and if you can choose partitions on your hdd then it's working.Use rewritable media !.

cantankerous Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 I tested this on my 3114 controller last night and it works fine. QNX Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 bonedaddyhave you installed from the hard drive or CD? my HPT372Ni've put all XP files into 1 dirhpt3xx.cathpt3xx.infhpt3xx.syshptpro.sysand added TXTSETUP.OEM also, as nuhi sadthen i've added via nlite and got textmode integrated and burn
cantankerous Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 I didn't have to do anything of the sort. I downloaded the latest drivers for my 3114 chipset and when integrated came up as text mode right off the bat. Did the usual business with nlite then burned.
bonedaddy Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 I've always installed as so;.sys.cat.inftextsetup.oemfrom winsif OemPnP.....and there are no problems, I would think Nuhi would wantthe install to go as Cantankerous states. Not everone is goingto know how to set this all up. Of course I could be wrong, mayberaid\sata will be Expierenced only area. @QNX no I just clicked on reg manuf .inf, I'll do it the way I have in the past but intergrate via nLite, installing from CD, by the way.
bonedaddy Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 started with the htp374 controller and......has a winxp folder and I just dropped th textsetup.oem in it,nLited, integrated that folder and the hdd was found, good news.so decided to contiue install and BSOD after reboot, common withraid driver install, back to the drawing board.
