does anyone know how to install the symantec liveupdate silently?

for use with norton antivirus and norton internet security

You can also replace the old version of liveupdate with the new one. just copy the file lusetup.exe to NAV2004\SUPPORT\LUPDATE, and overwrite the old file. This works for me.

And adding the "/s" switch hides the extraction dialogue box as well....

The "/Q-" alternative did not work for me.

i dont use this method anymore

dumb question but where do i get the updated antiviruses and live update and stuff? and how do i slipstream nis with the antivirus defs?
