Kelsenellenelvian Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 "File is not a pe file"????? WTF?????
Ghettochild Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 I tried to change the SYSSETUP.IN but i didnt have any luck....i got about 20 errors. I tried installing it and it work again. I had to go to the start menu and i click on it and the 'Welcome to Windows Media Player 10' screen came up .It think its 75% installed.I attached a jpeg so you could seen what screen im talking about.
mssaad66 Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Hi...GhettochildThat's mean we can use your way but just we still need to meet that screen which you attach to your last replay..........So after that it will work fine????
mssaad66 Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 @..GhettochildDid we need to use your SYSSETUP.IN_ or just that zip file which you attached it on top ???
XtremeMaC Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 @Ghettochild could u remove those attachments that don't work? so ppl won't get confused?
Metzen Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 I really an interested in this but i thought WMP10 was not integratable....WMP10 is integrated in the MCE-2005 SP2 CD. I can do a tree-diff and tell everyone the differences and maybe we can figure out what's needed?
Denney Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 @Metzen: That would be a good idea. I'd like to look at the differences.
Ghettochild Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 You don't need to use the syssetup.ini extractor, unless you are really cluely on modifying it. I tried modifying it but got too many errors. All that syssetup.ini extractor will do is extract it into an inf file. Im not a programmer, but im learning.

Denney Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 Sweet... Thanks. I'm trying this now... will update with some more information.Edit: I seem to be having some problems with file copy errors... I've added the files to "DOSNET.INF", "TXTSETUP.SIF" and "LAYOUT.INF". I've modpe'd them and compressed them.I don't have any more time at the moment to test this further. I'll try later on today (hopefully).
gokhantinmaz Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 good integrate wmp10 but controlpanel>sounds,speech,and audio devices>Portable media devices ?????
