Alanoll Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 We don't have too much free time to whittle away aimlessly (well..... atleast *SOME* of us, that is ) - we have real things and real jobs to attend to/take care of.I beg to differ I just finish things too fast, and so I ahve alot of spare time. lol.if you think 1000 posts is a milestone, just wait till you see your post count jump with the mod position.

Tel Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 ok, I stumbled upon these forums looking for something entirely different and I was hooked immediately. The first thing that struck me was the simplicity and informative-ness (is that a word ) of MSFN. Then I signed up and what also struck me was the helpfulness and friendliness of the members.I am a prominant member (well, I like to think I am ) of a local forum in South Africa, and they have a similar feel to MSFN. The friendliness and simplicity is what appeals to me.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MSFN!!!!
XPerties Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 ME! What are you talking about? Who's yah daddy? No really these forums have been a place of great knowledgeable post. Like prathapml said, you won't see alot of post like lol, rofl or cool brief statements. It seems these forums bring out the typing in everyone and 99.99% of all thread contain great information. This is why, regardless what anyone else can say or think, makes MSFN #1.

argon007 Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 After I registered with MSFN on July 9th, 2004, I found there are many resources in MSFN.. like registry tweaks, unattended xp cds, and friendly forum. I like it because I saw other computer forums, I think this forum is best! There is no better operation systems (Windows Me) here, because I am in Taiwan. When I have arrived in Vancouver, I will try best on this forum because there is Windows XP Professional in my computer (I can test the unattended xp cd on VMWare and download the software that I have not try.)I want to thank Admin because he provided this forum, I like this forum!!WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
rupert86 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 @prathapml:Congrats for soooo many posts. You helped me w/ your best. I acknowledge it.Ppl already have told various reasons why they prefer MSFN. I don't think I need to say anything right now. However, one point everybody missed: MSFN loads quickly on narrowband. I'm connected to my ISP @ 21600 bps (sometimes connects better like 45200 bps) and downloading Office 2003 SP1 (which is alternating b/w 710 bps & 6420 bps), but only surfing on MSFN.org. Guess why: No other site is loading; flashget eats up all the bandwidth, all other servers go time out.But MSFN is taking only 15 secs per page.Sure I say there was no help for me however good be the portal, if I couldn't load the pages.Thumbs up MSFN for your simplistic, quick-loading design.
