Wraith Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Seems to be a transparent GUI issue. What OS are you running it on?
Wraith Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Weird.I guess the remedy is to not use guitransparent.
Wraith Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 It redraws the portion of the WINNTBBU.DLL that XPlode sits over.Of course, it looks goofy if you're not doing it during a windows install.
MCT Posted July 12, 2004 Author Posted July 12, 2004 hehe, ya i am, doing it during T-9 , maybe ill try it lol
BAM Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Hi Wraith, good to see ure doing a lot of good work again! But just a little thingy from me, i suffer the same thing...Pink colours in the guitransparent. Its no problem for me (except the that its PINK ) but just wanted to inform u that its there.I use mine at first logon, XPpro, sp1a slipstreamed.Perhaps of some use if u wanted to do something about it.grtz.
Wraith Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Well, MAGENTA is usually the colour used for transparency. Right now I'm thinking of dropping transparency altogether, and going with an XPdeploy-like interface for both the selected and unselected install. It'll be easier to maintain, and well, looks cleaner. So, have fun with transparency now, because until someone codes another display plugin (details soon!) iy's not going to happen in XPlode2.
Alanoll Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 I personally would like one that looks more like a XP setup screen type thing. More like an actual installer. But that's just me Where are the different modes documented by the way? lol.
MCT Posted July 13, 2004 Author Posted July 13, 2004 i use guiredraw that works 4 me correctly not the same as transparent, but it works
eagle00789 Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 my guess is that you are missing some images that you use in the xml file
chezy666 Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 I used to get pink spaces when the actual image size is less tham what I want in the xml.
