How can I improve game performance on my PC?

Featured Replies

any one know anything about any program can improve the games on my PC :)

( my friends i have a network with 10 PC's they are P4 and

32Mb VGA card 1.7G CPU

it is sure that they can't run some important games such as : Vice city , Medal of honor , call of duty............

so i want any program can do it and run these network games

thnx

aa hmm what?

where do u have a problem? with the networking or with the computer hardware or software?

a p4 & 32mb graphics mem should be able to run them at least on lowest resolution.

do u have latest dx9?

do u have latest drivers?

do u have latest patches for the games?

wooow

my dear it is very expensive

any software plz or .... upgrade my cards

there is no "magical" program to improve perfomance in any game. i had a 667mhz with 192mb ram and a 64mb intel 82810 video based card and i can't run any game from 2 years to now up from 640x480. all the new games use H&L a feature only implemented in the gforce or recently radeon cards. so the first u must to it's spend a few bucks on a gforce 4 mx card (i know this could be expensive if you think x10), because high-end cards will not be featured with an old CPU. only 32mb of video will not be enough to make playable games like Vice city , Medal of honor & Call of duty. finally as important as the video card it's the RAM if you have less than 256mb think in another update.

also, 2 help free up some ram, make a "gaming" hardware profile, with almost all services turned off

that can free up alot of space goto blackviper's site for services guide

try some tweaks via reg

But tweaks can only do so much , my amd 1600 plays Mohaa well, but i have a 64MB card & 512DDR

so it makes up for the slower cpu a bit

regards :)

thnx for your posts :)

i will try that

No program can make up for a lack of good hardware. Software tweaks can only make your system perform the way it should, not the way you want.

Really, the only way to improve gaming performance is with a hardware upgrade.

And even upgrading your graphics cards will only help so much. You eventually have to buy a whole new computer, otherwise you're stuck playing 3 year old games.

hi guys

ok that is sure to upgrade my ones

but my real problem is

medal of honor: can't run in multiplayer or single player

vice city : run sometimes well but another times make tha PC to freeze (the same one?)

call of duty: can run in sigle player mode but not in multiplayer one

it is a complex problem

i think it depend on the PC performance in this time (to freeze)

then let me ask about the tweek pro. what is this programs can do with my PC

thnx :)
