Yes they do. I suggest you look in the 'Registry Tweaks' thread stickied at the very top of this particular forum.

just do a search for the rest, they are all easy, or use a program like regsnap and make your own

If your web browser has a find text feature, why not use it?

i don't know why show hidden files does not work for me (i run regtweaks as a section of cmdlines.txt). other ones appear to take effect but for example open a folder in double pannel view does not work. any ideas?

for the workgroup name, just use the winnt.sif settings?

I searched my registry and there is nowhere the workgroup name is defined?

You may need to log out for this setting to take effect
