The option in settings apparently doesn't work (it still says to check email for instructions but I have already clicked on the link), so please someone manually delete my account.

Please be aware that account deletion will result in all the account holder's forum content being removed.
As this would potentially make a mess of existing legacy threads, we don't normally do that.
