Last Version of Software for Windows 8.1

OK good!  So the Firefox 153 DOES run with Windows 8! ...  e3kskoy7wqk said he is ONLY supporting Windows 7 on this beta and may restore support later.  I am a wee bit worried, so I'm sticking with his ESR 14.x builds for now.

???? Don't understand you. Only see Search Settings, but don't know any idea what the problem with that is.

Sorry - I meant top left.

He says can't test on Operating Systems other than W7. I have no any problems found running on W8.1, it's works perfectly i think.
By the way W8.1 is technically more as W10/11 than 7, so it is strange if it are workjing on 7 and NOT on 8.1

But actually, I rarely work with Windows anymore and usually use Ubuntu. It is just a kind of curiosity of mine to keep up with this browser support on W8.1.
I got stuck on 8.1 because W10/11 never interested me.

While I'm here, has anyone been able to compile either Thunderbird OR Betterbird v140 for Windows 7 and 8x?

So, really?  No one is interested in this at all ???

I think people might be interested, it just seems that noone has ever backported it.

Or the code is too complicated to adapt it to anything before Windows 10.
