Virus change all my pictures and excel

Hi I got a virus and now I can't open my pictures and excel Word files.  Any help please

If the virus has encrypted the files, there is nothing you can do, completely clean the hard drive and reinstall the operating system. And in the future install antivirus and all security updates. But sometimes a virus just writes its garbage to the beginning of files, such files can be cleaned by antivirus.

In the future  , just have two separate PCs , one for gaming and pesonal stuff , another for the internet and don't keep anything important on the internet PC, like don't put there videos with you and your girlfriend, for example. Oh , and I don't beleive in updates and "anti"-viruses. If you want to test suspicious software - run it on something else , like your neighbour's laptop , lol. Kidding. Just not on your main PC.

Yes I will.  The virus came to my 12 year old daughter via an email.
