Damnation Posted July 25, 2022 Author Posted July 25, 2022 @Dietmar Oooh! which 10Gbe card works in XP SP3?
mockingbird Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 37 minutes ago, Dietmar said: @mockingbird I have 10 Gb connection under XP SP3 Dietmar I assume it's the Intel 82599? I'm not aware of any XP drivers for it. how did you accomplish this?
Dietmar Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 (edited) @mockingbird @Damnation X540-T2 works with 10Gb under XP SP3. Green LED means 2x10Gb working, ultrafast, my router cant compare with, Intel 82599 is X520 also driver for XP SP3 and also 10Gb Dietmar PS: Blackwingcat make them also work under win2000. And I see that the PCIe Intel 82574L supports XP as well... Good to know. Why did you pay so much for it? I see them going for less than $100 on the used market.
Dietmar Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 (edited) @mockingbird I only want the Original Intel X540-T2, because this is the only one with big passive cooler and keeps working a life long Dietmar Edited July 25, 2022 by Dietmar

wyf180 Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Maybe you couldn't get ndis6 on xp with only ntoskrn8.sys.The ndis6 is much more different from ndis5,in old version of vmware tool the ndis 5 vmxnet3 driver don't in the same path with ndis 6 driver like video card driver xpdm and wddm.

Dietmar Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 @Mov AX, 0xDEAD Can you add the missing function for Intel i219 win7 bit32 lan driver NdisGroupActiveProcessorCount so that I can test, if this lan i219 works with Longhorn 5048? If it does not work, I think the whole idea will not work. But may be, that we are lucky Dietmar
