Hi ... I am looking for a 'user agent switcher' for Mypal 78.0.3. I have tried a few older ones that I found but they don't install. The message is always 'appears to be corrupt'. I have been looking at the Firefox add on page and a general search but have not come across anything that works.

add: I have went back through all the user agents listed at a Firefox add-on page and I found three that actually do install. Strange that I did not find any before.

This one seems to install OK and you can change the user agent.

Sand Agent ... however I went back to where I found it a short time ago and it is no longer there. I am sure it was there at the site but now I don't know exactly where it was.

The other two are still there and do install:

User Agent Switcher by thewheat

I do like Sand Agent but it's only been installed a short time and as I mentioned earlier ... I can no longer find the add on.

OK ... very good thank you. I just finished posting some additional information to my original post inquiry. I will download and try the one you just posted. I never heard of it but it may better than the one I just found. The one I found seems a little complicated but I did finally figure it out.

value, so they cannot contradict each other. The same goes for the platform,
appVersion, vendor, the Sec-CH-UA client hints and navigator.userAgentData.
A mismatch between them is the first thing any detection script looks for,
and it is the flaw most user-agent switchers ship with.

TWO KINDS OF PROFILE, CLEARLY LABELLED
Stealth presents you as a different Firefox — a different version, or a
different operating system. Because the engine really is Firefox, nothing
in the environment can contradict the disguise.
Compatibility presents you as Chrome, Edge or Safari. This unblocks sites
that read the User-Agent string, which is what most of them do.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
Compatibility profiles do not fool bot-detection systems, and the add-on
says so in its own interface. The TLS and HTTP/2 fingerprints are produced
by Firefox's network stack, below any extension API, and services like
Cloudflare cross-check them against the announced User-Agent. No browser
extension can change that. If you want a quiet browsing experience on
protected sites, the honest answer is to stay on a Firefox profile.

THE RIGHT PROFILE, SITE BY SITE
Keep your real Firefox everywhere and put on a Chrome profile only where you
need it. A rule covers a domain and all its subdomains, and both the headers
and the JavaScript follow it.

YOUR OWN USER-AGENT
Paste any string. SandAgent uses it verbatim and derives the matching values
from it. If it cannot read the string, it says so instead of guessing — no
bundled list of user agents, so nothing ever goes stale.

BUILT-IN DIAGNOSTIC
One click replays, on the current page, the checks a fingerprinting script
would run. It reports what is coherent, what is not, and which engine-level
tells remain out of reach of any extension.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No analytics. No telemetry. No data collection of any kind.

When using unknown extensions, test them deeply and check on a user agent website if they are really working as advertised!  BTW, this extension actually requires FF91+. Just because you can install an extension doesn’t necessarily mean it will actually work.

I seem to have a new problem using the link that you supplied. I don't recall ever seeing a message like this before in Mypal. I was able to install those three User Agent programs at the 'Firefox  Browsers Add-ons' page to try.

Message from your link from the top of the Mypal browser.

'msfn.org

Mypal prevented this site from asking you to install software on your computer.'

It may be a Profile setting, I have looked in my Mypal profile but am seeing nothing.

This is due to your security settings. Don't install it directly but download it locally first! That kind of thing doesn't happen with me.

Yes, understand ... I did check and see that the UA was changed. I wanted to try the UA that you supplied a page back.

To see if the 'cloudjunk' sites might work better.

This is not for general use. It is meant for a manually created SSUAO in about:config for cloudflare.com only.

I still can't find the link you mentioned. At the User Agent Switcher and Manager website I can't find any 'version history' link.

What security settings would these be? ... in the browser profile or at the MSFN site profile?
