IkariShinji Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Can the spacing of the tray icons be reduced more aggressively? Even the "extra small" setting is still not dense enough. 2

I already have them close to each other. Where else should I compact it? But vertically it would be possible to reduce the distance between lines (in the tray).

Yes, I 2nd that you should be able to specify a taskbar icons margin number. If you have several pinned icons, you easily run out of taskbar space for not pinned running programs.

Uiti P. Uszer Posted April 17 Posted April 17 @Tihiy Is there way that a setting could be added to SAB that would enable Windows 7 style tray balloons notifications in Windows 11.
lubierzca Posted April 18 Posted April 18 @Tihiy I've thought of a nice QOL feature for show other tray icons arrow. I tend to hide it as I don't need to have all tray icons visible, although when I change my mind or install a new app, I have to go to SAB settings, select specific section and enable that arrow, so I can drag tray icons from/to tray section, and then disable it again - a lot of clicking. There could be a third option which would show that arrow on unlocked taskbar, and hide it again once you lock it. Very convenient as it wouldn't require going to SAB settings to achieve the same. 22 hours ago, Uiti P. msrat Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Minor transparency bug: With Taskbar > Tweak behavior and superpowers > Dynamic Transparency = ON As you can see below, when there's no window unfocused and the dynamic transparency activates, items aren't blurred correctly behind the taskbar: However, when a window is focused and the dynamic transparency settles, blur is functioning as expected again: Using latest NVIDIA drivers. Been happening since a Windows Update circa Februrary, before the blur behaved the same in both instances.
snowlin Posted April 23 Posted April 23 @Tihiy Hello, we'd like to report a problem we've encountered. Under normal use, after an unknown period of time, we've noticed that hovering the mouse cursor over applications in the taskbar no longer displays preview thumbnails. However, hovering the mouse cursor over an application while simultaneously opening the Start Menu (using the Windows key) will display the application's preview thumbnail. In this situation, right-clicking on a preview thumbnail and moving the mouse displays preview thumbnails for other applications in the taskbar. But clicking anywhere else on the screen and then moving the mouse back to an application in the taskbar no longer displays preview thumbnails. The following video is a test example:
geneticplasma Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) @Tihiy I noticed a bug with current version of Core Temp. Sorted order of the CT tray icons will not be locked, if SAB is installed. After a restart, the positions are reseted. Without SAB the sorted order keep locked. Sorted: After Restart: Could you please check this? Edited May 2 by geneticplasma

lubierzca Posted May 10 Posted May 10 (edited) @Tihiy hello, I've noticed kind of a bug when I try to change corner radius with Custom Window Corner Radius Windhawk mod. I've changed radius from default 4 to 8, and it makes context menus corners look very weird, after uninstalling SAB, mod applies radius correctly; Before and after uninstalling SAB: My goal here was to make context menus have the same corner radius as rest of the shell elements, which is 8. I've noticed that with SAB, it applies some sort of border around context menu, hence may be the reason for this behavior. Is there any way to disable those borders, or can you implement an option to increase corner radius for context menus to 8 and have those borders draw corners correctly for both menus and the item highlights? Uiti P. Uszer Posted May 13 Posted May 13 SAB needs a check box that say "Start up on system start and don't ask any stupid questions". I am so sick of SAB asking me if I want to run it after system start up. Of course I want to run it, that's why I have it installed. And I want it to start up & run natively.
