snowlin Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Hello Tihiy Windows 11 25H2 and later will support built-in dark mode. However, the new dark mode conflicts with the dark mode in StartAllBack. Will this issue be resolved? Thanks!

I saw an AutoHotkey script somewhere a couple of years ago. Let me check. Here it is. It's a modified version of the original. Decide for yourself whether to use it or not. Or make the taskbar dark and/or transparent *and* autohide it.

duk6046 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 (edited) It occurs from a specific 24h2 build, old version SAB are same issues on current 24h2 build. there are no newly installed other apps. it seems conflict with a display environment. Edited October 11 by duk6046

I saw that AutoHotKey script, haven't tried it yet but it seems like quite complicated workaround. I think these days OLED are quite widespread and having such feature directly in StartAllBack would be really nice to have :-) Also my screen from Philips has a "taskbar dimmer" feature in it but it doesn't seem to do anything for some reason, maybe it's incompatible with StartAllBack.
ftlsmslt Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Hi. I've bought a licence for startallback a few years ago. I've reinstalled windows a while back and I cant use my licence. I get this error. Do i have to get another licence everytime i reinstall windows?
PoopTart Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Is there going to be a feature where the Windows icon is in the dead center of the taskbar, and you can put icons on the left and right side of it?
zuardin Posted Sunday at 02:11 AM Posted Sunday at 02:11 AM Hi, I get this error when installing latest startallback v.3.9.16 on win11 24H2 build 6584 TIA
cxn Posted Wednesday at 11:38 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:38 AM Hello, I've changed the taskbar from the original Windows 11 to Windows 8/10 using StartAllBack, but there's an inconsistency between the flyouts of the taskbar toolbar items. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a deliberate choice, but I want the flyout to be consistent with the one I've already chosen. Will there be a toggleable switch that turns on and off the flyout style in StartAllBack? I really like the File Explorer in StartAllBack and want to use it alongside ExplorerPatcher, which has a Windows 8/10 Fullscreen Start Menu; however, the flyouts seem to clash with each other.
Onilink Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago (edited) I had a windows 11 Pro 24H2 update today (10/16/2025) and I am not sure which of the following updates broke version 3.9.15 taskbar making it transparent and no autohide. The taskbar on bother monitors broke. 2025-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5066835) (26100.6899) 2025-10 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 24H2 for x64 (KB5066131) I updated to version 3.9.16 which fixed the primary taskbar but my secondary screen remains broken. Edit: Uninstalled KB5066835 and that update broke the taskbar. Edited 20 hours ago by Onilink
