Will a USB 1.1 PCI card work together with your USB 2.0 that is onboard the motherboard?

I currently have a USB 1.1 Card installed in my machine, but disabled the onboard USB. Have not tried to enable yet, don't have time to fiddle with XP if the thing does crash because of it.

Should work fine, check that you're up-to-date with USB updates beforehand (should be listed in Windows Update's Recommended Updates list)

Yes it will work. But make sure you get the updates for WinXP.

Isn't USB 2.0 backward compatible with USB 1.1. That should mean you need no add-on cards to work usb 1.1 devices with your computer??

i think he bought the 1.1 card before the replacement of the mb right?
