Is there a Modern MSN?

Featured Replies

I wanna use a chat platform similar to MSN but can't find any

Is there any good alternitives?

There is a revival server called "Escargot MSN Server" that works very well, they are currently trying to support WLM 2009 =p

Discord is the de-facto chat replacement of the modern age.

Other similar programs still exist, such as Arrow Chat, but they are usually used as site-specific chat rooms.

I have a discord account, but it seems more like a slack-esque platform

Plus I mean it's kinda designed to be for gamers or whatever

Sounds interesting, I wonder how they reverse engineered it

I wonder if they could get it working on the Windows Mobile msn messenger clients

They've mainstreamed it in the past couple of years since they realised they killed off the traditional forum singlehandedly for good.

Well, Reddit and their derivatives killed off traditional forums, not Discord. As I put earlier, Discord is a chat program. The design of it is totally foreign to the layout of a forum and using one as a replacement for one is unwise. I've been a member of a forensic/archiving discord and being able to find any information that isn't recent is a nightmare.
