Start menu is mostly blank

I'm running StartIsBack++ 2.8.5. The Start menu only contains "Start screen" and none of the recent or pinned items.  See screenshot below. Any ideas?

I find it best to just use SiB++ to skin the taskbar.  I enjoy the Windows 10 Start Menu.

Did you turn off Let Windows track app launches to improve Start and search results in Settings app->Privacy->General? It's needed for recent items to appear. It shouldn't have any effect on pinned items though... Either way, I recommend updating to the latest version of StartisBack++.

I fixed it.

Right click on the taskbar.

Click on Taskbar Settings.

Go to the Start Menu settings (on the left-hand side)

Turn on Use Start full screen.

Lave the settings and display your start menu as full screen.

Go back to the settings and turn Use Start full screen back off.
