September 23, 20187 yr OK, thank you - that is good to know. However, and even though the program at issue does better than anything else that I have tried, I have decided that getting Windows 8.1. to use a dark theme is more trouble than it is worth. I'll keep my theming for Linux, and keep my Windows 8.1 computer - the light theme on which is not too bad - purely functional.
