What are the differences of Windows versions and which suits me?

Hello Windows 7 gurus,

I am considering switching to Windows 7 64-Bit and I am looking through windows versions and I found the following;

Starter

Home Basic

Home Premium

Professional

Ultimate

Enterprise

Now then, I am already ruling out Starter and Home Basic, frankly, they are crap. For a decent PC anyway.

For making VMs, designing websites, using Discord. Office 2016. 

What do you recommend?

If You want best out of money get Home Premium or Pro is bit overkill if arent in office domain like network .

Get HomePremium , Apply Sp1/Platform update / Other updates , Apply BlackViper safe service tweaks

I'd probably go for Ultimate, maybe.

Windows 7 doesn't include Hyper-V in any of its editions. To get it you'd have to install either Server 2008 R2 or any Windows version past 8, Pro edition.
