XtremeMaC Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 geei've to say, a friend of mine was doing a website over blue background and green font's as well, I think those 2 don't match good in the webpages.other than that web content is awesome!! i'd like bg: bluefont: white bg:blackfont: orange (its kindda dark but nicely readable)bg: blackfont: whitebg: grayfont: most of the colors...bg: a simple texture that doesn't block the font's, to be eligablefont: something that matches ....also this forum's color is prety goodblack over light blue bg...
Justice Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 Look at a color wheel and try opposite colors, like red/green, purple/yellow, or blue/orange. Or try a shade or two off, like dark blue/light blue, dark purple/red, etc...

MadGutts Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 You should have a different backgroung on the menu, then it will stand out more... otherwise its comming along nicely !When choosing colours, try to have dark and light together, ie:BG= White/ Yellow/ Light Blue/ Light Green... etc...Text= Dark Blue, Black, Dark Red...... etc...BG= Black/ Red/ Dark blue.... etc...Text= White/Yellow/Orange... etc...If your up to it, try changing the hover colour so the menu item changes colour when the mouse is over it....Hope this helps...
