Windows ME Driver Development Kit?

Is there a Driver Development Kit specifically for Windows ME? Or will the Windows 98 Driver Development Kit I found online work just fine?

Yes, there is a ME DDK.

So, using windows 2000/xp ddk should work. Just stay away from the 2000/XP specific functionality.

Also - God bless Russians (I found it also - now archived). Win 98, NT4, Win2k also "available" (FWIW).
